Burna Boy sings rubbish – DJ Tunez claims

DJ Tunez, personal disc jockey to Wizkid, has stirred controversy after publicly criticising the music of Afrobeats star Burna Boy during a performance in London.

The development comes weeks after Burna Boy and members of his team were accused of assaulting DJ Tunez at Obi’s House in Lagos, an incident that reportedly prompted the DJs Association of Nigeria to suspend the singer temporarily pending investigation.

Amid the ongoing dispute, DJ Tunez appeared to throw shade at Burna Boy while performing at a club event in London.

During his set, the DJ played Burna Boy’s hit song Last Last but muted the singer’s vocals before describing the music as “rubbish.”

A video clip from the performance, which has since gone viral on social media, captured mixed reactions from the audience, with some cheering while others condemned the remarks.

The incident has also sparked debate online, with several users criticising DJ Tunez for escalating tensions between both camps and warning about possible retaliation from Burna Boy.
